Tom Robinson was found guilty for supposedly rapping May Ella a teen-age girl in her house. Well do you think that Tom did it or do you think he didn’t do it? First off there was no evidence that proves Tom Robinson is guilty. No evidence from the doctor saying that she was rapped in her house by Tom or by anyone at all. The funny thin is that there were no eyewitnesses other than Bob (May Ella’s dad). Also May Ella and her dad’s stories do not match up at all. Tom couldn’t have done it! Tom got his left arm stuck in a cotton gin when he was a little boy so he couldn’t have hit her in the right eye. Since his left arm got stuck in a cotton gin then this proves that he also couldn’t have chocked May Ella and left two handprints one from a left hand and one from a right hand. Bob said that he say Tom do it but did not call the police or an ambulance. There is no way we can trust May Ella. First she wouldn’t even look at Tom when she said that he did it. Next she was hesitant to speak and when she did she wasn’t sure if it really happened. Also she took the longest time to answer the questions presented to her and Bob her dad said that he saw who did it through the window but May Ella said that he came running in and said who done it. I bet if Tom was white then the outcome would have been alot different Well Tom didn’t do it there is too much proof here saying that he didn’t but they still said he is guilty.
